Hi All.
Just took delivery of this printer today, here in the UK. Nice machine, not so nice installer.
The installation hangs either at 16% or 24% completion when the item being processed is:
Executing Utility/KmInstCm.exe FONTS 'FS-C5150DN' '.' 'Utility/PostInst'
At this point all necessary drivers are installed and I can use the printer, but the monitor and management stuff hasn't been installed. I'm running Win 7 64bit.
Just tried installing it on my wife's laptop, same OS and although it paused for a few seconds at 24%, it passed through and completed the installation.
I've uninstalled the s/w, cleaned all Kyocera references out of the registry and tried again with firewall and AV disabled. No dice.
Kyocera could only suggest uninstalling and reinstalling - not very helpful.
Just tried the installer again, running it as administrator. This time it stopped at 16%. Grrrrrrr!
Anyone got any ideas?

Hi,
Can someone help me make my Kyocera FS-C2126MFP+ accessible via anywhere for instance when I'm at school, work and I'd like to print something from there to my home with my computer? Because I can't find a clear manual to make this happen for me... Or isn't it at all possible for this printer?

getting error in the system log in the web image monitor of Ricoh printer.
and the printer status light blinks its not printing.
this may be a possible reason that the printer not getting the full data from the net work, in specified time mention din the Diprint.
Its the problem with the Printer driver settings in the server.
in the user side when we add the printer driver from the server, in the driver properties of the user, advanced setting , even though its checked as "start printing immediately",
in the server printer driver it will be checked as , "start printing after last page is spooled".
when we trying to print big files its take long time to print. in some printer environment which having the card swiping facility ( MPS) for releasing prints, the printer simply blinks the light, and will not release the print out.
in the above case change the advanced setting in the server driver to "start printing immediately". may resolve the issue.

I have a couple of short books on learning languages, and I plan to write a few more.
I am looking for an inexpensive printer that I can do this at home, just print off 1 or 2 books at a time. All my stuff is to be done on half-size paper - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". The sheets of paper come prepared that way, half the size of your basic printer ream.
Many printers have advertised they have a 250 sheet paper tray, and that they have "adjustable" paper size. However, after I purchased the printers, I discovered that the pull-out paper tray only takes letter or legal, not my half-size letter, and that the "adjustable" feature only applies when you are using the 50 sheet capacity "input tray". :(
Or that the "duplex" printing only works when you are using the smaller "input" tray. My book is about 150-200 pages, so it doesn't work for me.
Anybody got any suggestions for a printer which is small, but high quality, does duplex on 1/2 size standard paper, in one run of at least 200 sheets? :confused:
It would be nice if the output tray will hold 200 sheets, but not absolutely necessary.
What about quality - is the laser(jet) type better for pages of a book that would look like a real book, or is inkjet good enough?

guys, i need your help about my new printer. Example if we copy 100 pages, in the output bin the 100th page is on the top and the 1st page is at the bottom. So we need to arrange it manually. I checked the settings but I cant find any option. pls help. It makes trouble in our office..

Hi,
I have a Samsung SCX-3405FW (MFP) printer. I am not able to use the OCR option: it is in GREY. Under Help it shows the option Text Converting (also in grey).
I can scan a document or image no problem, therefore I have the Scans drivers that came with the printer! (When I ask Samsung, they said says to download the scan drivers.)
I am using the Easy Printer Manager and I can see the Easy Document Creator.
I am using Windows 8.1
Any word of wisdom.

I have a Canon printer IP 4950 and it prints excellent color photos using glossy paper, but refuses to print using normal, plain A4 paper! Did anyone encounter similar problems? Thanks

Hi all,
I was wondering if you could help me. I have a SHARP MX-C311 PCL6 and it is used within a network. All the computers on the network can use this printer and printout in both colour and black and white except for 1 computer.
I have 1 computer that will only printout in B&W but not colour. When I select the option to printout in colour it says that it sent the document to the printer but does not print it at all, yet it'll print fine for B&W.
Any clue as to what it could be?

I have a load of plain coloured vinyl security wristbands.
I would like to print text and a logo on them, each one would be individual.
Would a flatbed printer be able to do the job?

Hello there!
Is there any way I can direct the output from my PHP based software to 2 printers connected to the same computer? I have a requirement where I have to print a receipt as well as a form filled with data after registration. So instead of replacing papers that are of different sizes for the receipt and the form, i would like to stack receipts on one printer and the forms on the other. if i can direct the software (PHP) to print on the correct printer, it would be great. Help please?

Hi Everyone,
I am using HP Color LaserJet 4600 and few days ago i got the error REPLACE BLACK CARTIRAGE , i thought it was because of Lower of ink in the cartirage then i refil it and put it back into printer i am still getting this error.
So is there any solution to this problem or what i do now ?

My Epson WF2530 printer is only printing in colour. Any black and white documents just come out completely blank. I replaced the black cartridge recently, and the document I printed at the time came out fine. A few weeks later, and I'm getting blanks. Checking the ink levels on the ECD display the cartridge still shows as full and the printer/computer is showing no error messages when I attempt to print. I've I've done a nozzle check and head clean and neither has had any effect. Any ideas?

I've just bought a Oki MC851+ and it prints perfectly fine until I need to print on a label - then it prints landscape. I've selected everything I can to make sure it's set to portrait and it still prints landscape - any ideas? Oki support are as helpful as a chocolate teapot.

Hi,
I am ready to retire my HP Color Laser 2605dn that is in need of another
cleaning and toner cartridge package. I am thinking that the $300 that will
cost can be put into either a new Brother HL-3170CDW or a HL-4150CDN. I like
the 4150 because of the higher capacity toner cartridges and print speed but
have questions.
a) Is clinging to the older laser technology a mistake? From what I have
been reading the LED technology used in the 3170 is good but the 4150s laser
gives better quality and speed.
b) I print single envelopes occasionally and am confused by the 4150
description of the procedure. Is the envelope ejected from the front or
rear? The rear of the printer will not be accessible without great
difficulty.
c) It looks like the Brother Web site has up-to-date software for my OS,
Windows 7 64-bit. I have been using PLC 6 with the 2605 since Windows Vista
and am used to the reduced features compared to host based drivers.

2. Preferred brand: None, but used Dell for the last few years
3. Brands Not Preferred: None
4. How many pages do you print per day: 100 ish
5. Do you want your printer to perform other functions: Not necessary
6. Preferred website for printer: Usually use Amazon as good customer service
7. Do you want your printer to have WiFi capability: Just needs to be networked, not wifi
8. Do you want your printer to have full color or black and white: Prefer colour
9. How much do you currently spend on ink/toner: Too much, not sure. Just buy it when needed. Always use replica cartridges (IJTDirect)
10. Do you print high quality or high resolution documents or photographs: No. Just need colour for our invoices to keep the branding correct (just spent alot on re-branding and don't want to start making the logo black instead of purple)
11. Additional question is how much extra is colour compared to monochrome? is monochrome cheaper to run? Or will colour just use the small amounts of colour toner needed? As colour and black cartridges have been the same price in the past
Was looking at a Dell B2360dn (but monochrome) and a Brother HL-3150CDW
Is it worth spending a little extra and getting a Lexmark CS CS410dtn

Hi,
I've installed Printer Driver for EPSON TM-L500A printer before I've plugged in the USB cable.
I've followed all instructions when installing the driver. Tried to do a test print but the status is offline. Tried troubleshooting and still couldn't get it online. In the printer properties say unavailable. When plugging in the USB cable, It picks up the printer but still shows unavailable. :confused:
I've installed the EPSON Advanced Printer Driver for TM-L500A Ver.4
Any solution for this please.

Hi everyone,
my girlfriend's printer broke today, so we're looking for a new one for her. I want to get her a good one that's capable of WLAN and Google Cloud Print. It needs to have a scanner; fax is highly optional. We/she won't use memory cards. Direct printing from USB would be interesting. It would be really nice to have a paper tray like in laser printers. Oh, ink is a "must" (I recently read that laser printers are incredibly unhealthy).
She never prints pictures (and I wouldn't either), so color cartridges will probably dry out. I definitely want separate ink cartridges. mhh ... the scanner shouldn't be too bad.
She's always had Canon and prefers to have a Pixma again, so I looked them up and came to the following conclusion:
- MG4250: Has no separate ink cartridges for color
- MG3550: Has no separate ink cartridges for color
- MG5550 & MG6450: seem to be equal. What's the difference here?
- MG7150: looks like overkill
I also had a look at other printers like HP Photosmart 5520 (no paper tray), HP Photosmart 6520 (looks nice). Epson printers seem to be cheap, but I couldn't find too many information on these.
I haven't had a look at ink printers for about 10 years and struggle a lot with the differences. It seems like they are either huge or don't have a paper tray. Moreover, I don't know about ink prices too much (never had to care about that for my laser), or if ink still runs dry. I don't to have the burden of cleaning dawn cartridges and the like inside the printer ...
I hope you can help me out on this. I'm really thankful for any advice on this one here :-)
